UHV (STM) Magnet Cryostat
The UHV (STM) Magnet Cryostat is a low loss helium bath cryostat housing a UHV bore 1 / 2 / 3D superconducting magnet with an optional 1 K pot or JT stage. The system has a nitrogen shield and two optional vapor cooled radiation shields for added performance. The system allows for versatile conventional superconducting magnets to be used in UHV conditions.

- Houses a 1, 2 or 3D magnet, in solenoid or split pair configuration with up to 22 T in field
- Low loss vapor cooled current leads, compatible with retractable current leads or HTS / LTS current leads
- Base flanges, CF / COF to match your vacuum chamber
- SPM / STM / AFM compatible
- Includes a persistent switch for very stable magnetic fields
- Ultra-low cryogenic consumption LHe / LN2
- 0.31 liters LHe / h and 0.28 liters LN2 / hr (with retracted current leads, for a 9 T magnet)
